MENIFA staff members are all professionals with values and vision, highly motivated who aspire to improving Israeli society. Our team is comprised of senior professionals in three areas: education, therapy and pedagogy and a team or young staff members at different staged of their training. In addition we have a small administrative team comprising the executive director, and office manager, a bookkeeper, a finance manager and a manager of resource and development.
Field staff: Regional Manager Responsible for the daily running of a several centers and locations. S/He has knowledge in education, finance and management since this job entails involvement in every aspect of the center – from choosing teachers and coordinators to reporting to project partners and managing the budget. Pedagogical Advisor Rresponsible for staff training and development, supervising the teachers and teaching interns, as well as diagnosing participating students where needed. Educational Coordinator A young dynamic youth guide, with great understanding in educational work. Responsible for the daily execution of the program, maintains personal contact with people around the teens – parents and teachers and of course has a very close relationship with the teens themselves. In charge also of the social activities for the group and any life skills program needed. Therapy Coordinator A psychologist or qualified social worker responsible for supporting and escorting program staff (teachers and coordinators). S/He is also responsible for group and individual therapy sessions for the teens themselves. Teachers Most teachers employed in MENIFA are teaching interns who receive special training for working with at risk youth. They learn to cope with different difficulties and to develop high awareness to the problems surrounding teen drop outs (covert and overt).
